Terms of Service
Last Updated: September 17, 2026
Overview
This website is operated by Storevia Limited under the store name GuardReady. Throughout this website, the terms “GuardReady,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Storevia Limited. GuardReady provides this website, including the information, products, features, and services available through it, subject to these Terms of Service.
By visiting https://guardready.us, creating an account, placing an order, or otherwise using our website or services, you agree to these Terms of Service and any policies referenced in them, including our Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Return & Refund Policy.
Please read these Terms carefully before using the website. If you do not agree to them, you should not access the website, submit an order, or use our services.
Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or modified under applicable law.
Eligibility and Legal Capacity
You must be at least the age of legal majority in your state, province, territory, or country of residence and possess the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract to place an order.
A minor may browse the website or use a product only with the permission and direct supervision of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law. If you permit a minor to use the website or any product purchased from GuardReady, you accept responsibility for the minor’s activity, safety, supervision, and compliance with applicable laws.
By placing an order, you represent that the information you provide is accurate and that you are legally permitted to purchase, possess, receive, transport, and use the ordered products in your location.
Sporting and Training Products
GuardReady specializes in equipment and accessories for sport fencing, kendo, iaido, Historical European Martial Arts, safe sparring, athletic conditioning, and organized swordsmanship training.
Unless a product page expressly states otherwise, products resembling swords, daggers, sabres, rapiers, or other weapons are offered as sporting, blunt, synthetic, foam, padded, wooden, or training equipment. They are not promoted as sharpened weapons, self-defense devices, or products intended to injure another person.
Product names may describe a recognized sporting or historical training format. Such names do not mean that a product is suitable for combat, self-defense, law-enforcement use, or unrestricted public carrying.
You must not sharpen, modify, reinforce, misuse, or convert a training product into a dangerous or unlawful weapon.
Lawful Purchase, Possession and Use
Laws concerning sword-like trainers, protective equipment, replicas, sporting weapons, and related accessories vary by jurisdiction. A product’s availability on our website does not mean that its purchase, importation, possession, transportation, public carrying, resale, or use is legal in every location.
Before ordering, you are responsible for checking all applicable federal, state, provincial, territorial, municipal, customs, carrier, venue, school, club, and event rules. You must also obtain any license, permit, parental authorization, or other approval required in your jurisdiction.
GuardReady does not provide legal advice and does not guarantee that a particular product is lawful or appropriate in your location. We may refuse, restrict, or cancel an order when we reasonably believe that fulfilling it may violate a law, carrier restriction, payment rule, safety requirement, or these Terms.
Products purchased from GuardReady may be used only for lawful sport, supervised instruction, controlled practice, collection, display, maintenance, or another lawful purpose consistent with the product description.
Safety and Inherent Risks
Fencing, kendo, iaido, HEMA, sparring, and swordsmanship training involve inherent risks, including falls, impacts, cuts, bruises, eye injuries, joint injuries, equipment failure, and other serious injuries. No training weapon, mask, jacket, glove, pad, protector, or other safety product can eliminate every risk.
Always follow the product instructions and the rules of your instructor, club, venue, school, event organizer, and relevant governing body. Activities involving contact or weapon-like equipment should take place in a controlled environment with appropriate supervision, protective equipment, spacing, and safety procedures.
Inspect all equipment before every use. Do not use equipment showing cracks, corrosion, loose parts, damaged stitching, deformation, excessive wear, sharp edges, exposed cores, broken fasteners, compromised padding, or another condition that could make it unsafe.
Stop using a product immediately if it becomes damaged or behaves unexpectedly. Do not attempt repairs or modifications unless the manufacturer expressly authorizes them and you are qualified to perform the work.
Protective Equipment and Competition Eligibility
Protective equipment reduces certain risks but does not guarantee protection from injury. Fit, coverage, condition, construction, certification, and intended use vary between products.
A product is not guaranteed to satisfy the rules of USA Fencing, the Fédération Internationale d’Escrime, the International Kendo Federation, a HEMA organization, a school, club, tournament, or other governing body unless the applicable product page expressly states the relevant certification or standard.
Competition and club requirements may change. Before purchasing or participating, verify the current equipment rules directly with the organization responsible for your activity.
Product Information
We make reasonable efforts to present product descriptions, images, measurements, materials, compatibility details, safety information, and availability accurately. Product information may be supplied by manufacturers, distributors, or other suppliers.
Colors and visual details may appear differently depending on the screen, lighting, production batch, or packaging. Measurements may have reasonable manufacturing tolerances. Packaging and minor product details may change when the change does not materially alter the product’s essential function.
You must review the complete product description, size chart, dimensions, handedness, compatibility, material, intended use, age guidance, and included components before ordering. When fit, certification, or compatibility is important, contact us before placing the order.
If the product you receive materially differs from its description, your rights are governed by applicable law and our Return & Refund Policy.
Orders and Contract Formation
Submitting an order is an offer to purchase the listed products. An automated order confirmation acknowledges receipt of your order but does not necessarily constitute final acceptance.
An order is accepted when we confirm shipment or otherwise expressly confirm acceptance. We may place an order under review before acceptance for inventory, payment, fraud-prevention, legal, safety, address, or shipping-verification purposes.
We may reject or cancel an order before shipment when reasonably necessary, including when:
- A product is unavailable or discontinued.
- The price or product information contains a material error.
- Payment cannot be authorized or is suspected to be fraudulent.
- The shipping address is incomplete, invalid, or unsupported.
- The transaction may violate a law, regulation, sanctions requirement, carrier restriction, or payment-provider rule.
- The order involves unusual quantities, suspected unauthorized resale, or abusive purchasing activity.
- Fulfilling the order could create a significant safety or compliance concern.
If we cancel an order after payment has been collected and before the product is shipped, we will issue a refund to the original payment method. Processing time may depend on the payment provider or financial institution.
Prices, Taxes and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency indicated on the website or during checkout. Prices may change before an order is accepted. A price change will not apply retroactively to an order already accepted unless required by law or agreed to by the customer.
Applicable sales tax, duties, import charges, shipping fees, or other charges will be displayed during checkout when available. Customers remain responsible for charges imposed by governmental authorities that were not collected at checkout, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
You represent that you are authorized to use the payment method submitted with your order. Payment processing may be provided by third-party payment providers and is subject to their security procedures and terms.
If a clear pricing, description, or calculation error is discovered before shipment, we may contact you with the correct information and allow you to confirm or cancel the order. We will not knowingly ship a materially mispriced substitute without your consent.
Shipping and Delivery
Shipping estimates, processing information, available destinations, tracking procedures, address requirements, and delivery-related terms are described in our Shipping & Delivery Policy.
Estimated dates are not guaranteed unless expressly stated as guaranteed. Delays may result from inventory conditions, order verification, supplier handling, carrier disruptions, severe weather, customs reviews, public holidays, incorrect addresses, or events outside our reasonable control.
If we cannot ship within the time promised at checkout or otherwise required by applicable law, we will provide any legally required delay notice, revised estimate, cancellation option, or refund.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address. Address changes cannot be guaranteed after an order has entered processing or shipment.
Risk of loss and legal title transfer as provided by applicable law. Nothing in these Terms overrides any non-waivable rights relating to lost, damaged, misdelivered, or undelivered goods.
Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Returns, refunds, exchanges, damaged-product claims, incorrect-item claims, and order-cancellation requests are governed by our Return & Refund Policy.
You should inspect products promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or materially different from what was ordered, contact us within the period stated in the Return & Refund Policy and retain the product, packaging, labels, and relevant photographs.
For safety and hygiene reasons, certain opened, worn, used, altered, custom-fitted, or protective products may have return restrictions where permitted by law. These restrictions do not eliminate rights that cannot legally be waived.
Product Recalls and Safety Notices
If a manufacturer, supplier, government authority, or GuardReady issues a recall or safety notice, you must stop using the affected product and follow the instructions provided.
We may use your order contact information to send important safety, recall, or corrective-action notices. You are responsible for keeping your contact details current and for passing relevant notices to any person to whom you give or resell the product.
Accounts and Account Security
Some website features may allow or require an account. You must provide accurate information and keep your login credentials confidential.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless caused by our failure to use legally required safeguards. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access, fraudulent activity, or compromised credentials.
We may suspend or restrict an account when reasonably necessary to investigate fraud, protect users, comply with law, address a security risk, or enforce these Terms.
Acceptable Use
You must not use the website or our services to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation.
- Purchase, possess, transport, resell, or use a product unlawfully.
- Threaten, harm, harass, or facilitate violence against another person.
- Submit false identity, age, payment, location, or delivery information.
- Infringe intellectual property, privacy, publicity, or other legal rights.
- Introduce malware, harmful code, automated attacks, or security threats.
- Interfere with the website, servers, payment systems, or another user’s access.
- Scrape, copy, or extract website content for unauthorized commercial use.
- Circumvent purchase limits, access controls, fraud controls, or safety restrictions.
- Submit false reviews, deceptive claims, spam, or misleading content.
We may take reasonable steps to prevent or respond to prohibited activity, including restricting access, canceling unaccepted orders, preserving relevant records, and cooperating with lawful requests from authorities.
Intellectual Property
The GuardReady name, website design, original text, graphics, logos, collection structure, photographs owned by us, and other original website content are owned by or licensed to Storevia Limited and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may use the website for personal, non-commercial shopping purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, publish, sell, license, or commercially exploit protected website content without prior written permission.
Product names, brand names, trademarks, images, and other materials belonging to third parties remain the property of their respective owners. Listing a third-party product does not imply sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation unless expressly stated.
If you believe content on our website infringes your intellectual property rights, contact us with identification of the protected work, the disputed material, your contact information, and evidence of your authority to submit the notice.
Reviews and User Submissions
If you submit a review, photograph, comment, question, or other content, it must be truthful, lawful, relevant, and based on your genuine experience where applicable.
You must not submit fabricated reviews, undisclosed compensated endorsements, confidential information, infringing content, malicious code, threats, or unlawful material.
You retain ownership of your content but grant Storevia Limited a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, reproduce, format, and use it in connection with operating and promoting GuardReady, subject to applicable law and our Privacy Policy.
We may moderate or remove content that reasonably appears unlawful, fraudulent, irrelevant, abusive, misleading, infringing, or inconsistent with these Terms. We are not required to publish every submission.
Third-Party Services and Links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including payment processors, analytics providers, carriers, social platforms, and external websites.
Third parties operate under their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for third-party content, availability, security, or conduct except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or the third party acts on our behalf in a manner for which we are legally responsible.
A link does not necessarily indicate that GuardReady endorses or controls the linked service.
Privacy
Our collection, use, storage, and disclosure of personal information are described in our Privacy Policy and, where applicable, our Your Privacy Choices page.
By using the website, you acknowledge that information may be processed by service providers and transferred between jurisdictions as described in those policies and as permitted by applicable law.
Website Availability and Changes
We may update, maintain, suspend, or discontinue website features when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that the website will always be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may change product selection and prices before an order is accepted. Changes to the website do not remove obligations relating to orders already accepted or affect rights that cannot legally be waived.
Disclaimer of Warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website and general informational content are provided on an “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the website will be uninterrupted or free from every error, security threat, or technical issue.
We do not guarantee that a product will improve athletic performance, prevent injury, fit every user, comply with every competition rule, or be suitable for a purpose not expressly identified in its product description.
Manufacturer warranties, if any, are subject to the manufacturer’s terms. Nothing in this section excludes any express warranty made by GuardReady, any applicable statutory warranty, or any consumer guarantee that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Storevia Limited and its directors, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential losses arising from the website, an interrupted service, or misuse of a product.
Where permitted by law, our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a particular product or order will not exceed the amount paid to GuardReady for the product or order giving rise to the claim.
These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, willful misconduct, or death or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited. They also do not reduce any mandatory product-liability or consumer-protection rights.
Responsibility for Unlawful Misuse
To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for losses or third-party claims directly caused by your unlawful use of the website, intentional misuse or unlawful modification of a product, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms.
This provision does not require you to compensate GuardReady for losses caused by our own negligence, unlawful conduct, product defect for which we are legally responsible, or breach of a non-waivable legal obligation.
Events Outside Reasonable Control
We will not be responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as natural disasters, severe weather, war, civil unrest, labor disruptions, epidemics, transportation interruption, carrier failure, government action, customs delay, power failure, or widespread network disruption.
This provision does not remove any cancellation, refund, delivery, or notification right available under applicable law.
Governing Law and Disputes
These Terms and transactions with GuardReady are governed by the laws of Hong Kong, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where the mandatory laws of your place of residence apply.
Subject to any non-waivable right to bring a claim elsewhere, the courts of Hong Kong will have non-exclusive jurisdiction over disputes relating to these Terms or our services.
Before commencing formal proceedings, you and GuardReady are encouraged to contact the other party and make a reasonable good-faith effort to resolve the dispute. This informal process does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or exercising a statutory right.
Nothing in these Terms prevents a consumer from using a court, government agency, payment dispute process, or other remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found unlawful, invalid, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted or severed when necessary. The remaining provisions will continue in effect.
No Waiver
If we do not immediately enforce a provision of these Terms, that does not waive our right to enforce it later. A waiver is effective only when clearly made in writing by an authorized representative.
Assignment
You may not transfer your contractual rights or obligations without our prior written consent, except where applicable law permits otherwise.
We may transfer our rights or obligations as part of a merger, restructuring, sale of business assets, or transfer to an affiliated or successor entity, provided that the transfer does not reduce your mandatory consumer rights.
Entire Agreement and Order of Precedence
These Terms, the applicable product listing, checkout information, order confirmation, Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Return & Refund Policy form the agreement between you and GuardReady concerning your use of the website and purchases.
If a product page or written order confirmation contains a specific term that conflicts with a general provision in these Terms, the specific term will apply to that order to the extent of the conflict, subject to applicable law.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes in our services, products, business practices, or legal obligations. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.
Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law permits or requires otherwise. A material change will not retroactively remove rights relating to an order already accepted.
Your continued use of the website after updated Terms take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept an update, you should stop using the website.
